Cardiff Airport (CWL)
Car Parking
(Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales, UK)
Cardiff International Airport (CWL) has short-stay and long-stay parking lots as well as business and disabled parking. Closed-circuit TV is in 24-hour operation at the airport.
Car parking is pay-and-display and travellers must pay at a machine upon their return, which accept notes, coins and credit cards. Spaces can also be pre-booked and substantial savings are available.
Short-Stay
The short-stay car park is the closest car park to the airport terminal at Cardiff International Airport (CWL) and spaces are first-come, first-served, where you will be directed to the next available space. Parking tickets are collected on entry to the car park and payment is made at the car park machines just outside the Arrivals entrance upon your return. Prices range from £1 for the first 30 minutes to £10 for 24 hours.
Long-Stay
Those looking for Cardiff airport parking and planning to park their cars longer than a day, consider leaving your vehicle in the Long-Stay car park, which is pre-bookable by telephone or via the Internet. Daily rates are available as well as nominal charges per day for stays of 15 days or more. The Long-Stay car park is located farther away from the terminal than the Short-Stay car park, although a courtesy bus travels between the airport and the car park in the summer months.
Business
Special designated spaces are allocated for business people in the Short-Stay car park, where stays longer than one day are required. Prices are slightly more than the Long-Stay car park, although you have the convenience of being nearer to the terminal building.
Disabled
There are car parking spaces available for disabled passengers in the Short-Stay and the Long-Stay car parks, with ramp access from the Short-Stay car park to the terminal building.
